All Schools – Senior Mental Health Lead training starting soon.

Our 2023 Senior Mental Health Lead training starts on the 13th of November.

I have attached a list of schools from the DfE who have not yet applied for the £1200 training grant. Some schools have started the process then not completed form 2, meaning that finances won’t have been given. I have highlighted all schools who can still receive the grant in yellow on the following sheet:

Liverpool Grant Take-up Sept 23

Please make sure that you complete all three parts of the application process:

  1. Eligible settings should complete the first stage of the application process to reserve a grant. In this form, your eligibility will be checked and you will be asked to make a series of declarations as described in the conditions of grant.
  2. You will receive confirmation that we have successfully received your application. This will tell you to book a DfE quality assured training course, to start by 31 March 2024. Keep evidence of your booking, as you will need this to claim your grant.
  3. Places can then be booked using the following link:

https://www.roarresponse.com/events/roar-whole-school-approach-liverpool-schools-only-3/

4.You must submit the second stage of your application to claim your grant – providing acceptable evidence of booking a DfE quality assured course. This completes your application, enabling         us to process your claim for a grant.

Resilience-building programme for primary schools

ROCKET is a one-day, interactive course aimed at primary-aged children to enable them to become resilience champions within their schools. The role of the group will be to look at what the school already does to promote resilience, but also where the areas for improvement are regarding resilience and how the resilience champions can improve on these.

Throughout the course, we make reference to Resilient Ralph – so for those schools who have received the ROAR Training, the ROCKET course really compliments and works alongside ROAR, both of which have been developed by the MYA RAISE Team.
