Course Overview

Assessment has been identified as the weakest aspect of PSHE, and yet effective assessment enables us to ensure teaching meets pupils needs and allows all pupils to demonstrate progress. Meaningful assessment in PSHE facilitates progression in teaching and learning

Why Attend?

  • Use assessment in PSHE to motivate learners as partners in the assessment process
  • Assessment in PSHE should enable all learners to make progress, achieve and have their efforts recognised.

What will it cover?

Focus on assessing what is valuable and relevant for the learner, and identify strengths and how to develop them further, as well as areas for development/weaknesses and how they might be addressed.

Who should attend?
