Why attend?
Carl Dutton is a mental health practitioner and psychotherapist who has worked previously setting up a specific service for refugee and asylum seeking children in schools called the Haven Project. He has presented and written about using community approaches and creative therapies with diverse communities and specifically with newly arrived children. He has written a chapter in the book Psychological Therapies for Survivors of Torture(2017) PCCS Books called Creating a safe haven- a community based, creative approach to working with refugee and asylum seeking families and young people affected by torture.
